# Lemon Tree Hotels Limited Q2 FY2026-27: Revenue rises 18% year on year

Revenue from operations increased 18.0% year on year to ₹361.4 crore and 4.9% sequentially. Profit before exceptional items and tax rose 12.2% quarter on quarter to ₹89.1 crore; a ₹22.1 crore exceptional gain lifted reported profit before tax to ₹111.2 crore. Operating cash flow was ₹306.8 crore, while noncurrent borrowings fell from their 31 March 2026 level.

## Revenue and expenses increase sequentially

Revenue from operations was ₹361.4 crore in Q2 FY2026-27, compared with ₹344.6 crore in Q1 FY2026-27 and ₹306.3 crore in Q2 FY2025-26. Total income was ₹363.8 crore, up 4.9% sequentially and 18.1% year on year.

Expenses rose 2.8% quarter on quarter to ₹274.7 crore. Employee benefit expense was ₹66.9 crore, depreciation, depletion and amortisation expense ₹36.6 crore, and finance costs ₹36.4 crore. Finance costs were broadly unchanged from Q1 FY2026-27.

## Exceptional item lifts reported pre-tax profit

Profit before exceptional items and tax increased to ₹89.1 crore from ₹79.4 crore in Q1 FY2026-27 and ₹55.8 crore in Q2 FY2025-26. The quarter included an exceptional item of ₹22.1 crore; neither comparison quarter had an exceptional item. Reported profit before tax was ₹111.2 crore, up 40.0% sequentially and 99.2% year on year.

Tax expense rose to ₹31.1 crore from ₹21.8 crore in Q1 FY2026-27, including deferred tax expense of ₹17.5 crore versus ₹8.3 crore. Profit for the period was ₹79.8 crore, compared with ₹57.3 crore in Q1 and ₹41.9 crore in Q2 FY2025-26. Basic and diluted EPS were ₹0.72, versus ₹0.58 and ₹0.44 in those respective quarters. Trailing-twelve-month EPS was ₹3.25.

## Operating cash flow and borrowings

Cash flow from operating activities was ₹306.8 crore in Q2, alongside investing outflows of ₹163.7 crore and financing outflows of ₹144.1 crore. Free cash flow was ₹143.1 crore. Cash and cash equivalents stood at ₹57.0 crore on 30 September 2026, compared with ₹58.1 crore on 31 March 2026.

Noncurrent borrowings were ₹1,235.0 crore at 30 September 2026, down from ₹1,805.7 crore at 31 March 2026 and ₹1,398.6 crore at 30 September 2025. Current borrowings were ₹194.1 crore at the September quarter-end.

## Equity, assets and receivables

Equity attributable to owners of the parent was ₹1,500.1 crore at 30 September 2026, up from ₹1,391.9 crore at 31 March 2026 and ₹1,236.6 crore a year earlier. Other equity increased to ₹708.3 crore from ₹600.1 crore at March-end, while share capital remained unchanged at ₹791.8 crore. Non-controlling interest was ₹726.4 crore.

Property, plant and equipment stood at ₹3,445.6 crore, compared with ₹3,425.8 crore at 31 March 2026. Capital work in progress increased to ₹170.4 crore from ₹108.1 crore over the same period.

Trade receivables were ₹121.9 crore at 30 September 2026, up from ₹116.3 crore at 31 March 2026 and ₹86.7 crore at 30 September 2025. Inventories were ₹15.6 crore and other current assets ₹130.4 crore. Current investments were ₹34.7 crore, compared with ₹66.3 crore at March-end; bank balances other than cash and cash equivalents were ₹29.4 crore versus ₹39.7 crore.
